The student branch is now accepting paper submissions for the IEEE Region 8 student paper contest 2014. It is open to all undergraduates, and we shall select the best paper submitted by 28th November the best as Cambridge’s submission to the regional contest.

An international jury will grade the written papers sent by Student Branches to the Regional contest without knowledge of the identity of the authors and of their school, and will decide which papers will be accepted for presentation at the Regional Oral Finals. All finalists will be invited and financially supported to present their papers at IEEE R8 MELECON 2014 Conference, 13-16 April 2014, Beirut, Lebanon. The papers will be published within MELECON 2014 Conference Proceedings and included in IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Three best finalists will get prizes from the IEEE Life Member Fund.
