Automatic Hand-Sanitizer Dispenser

This is the automatic hand-sanitizer dispenser project. Here, we’ve designed and prototyped successfully a simple version which we plan to fund-raise soon.

The prototype circuit includes a 3V water pump connected to a TIP 32C (PNP) transistor and an IR sensor with a 1kOhm resistor. We powered the design with 3 AA batteries.

Also, we’ve used Autodesk Fusion360 to design and 3D-printed our very own enclosures.

Currently, we are researching and developing our IoT version of the product. Some functions that we hope to see are: displaying information on an LCD screen such as the time, the weather, or how much hand sanitizer is left, greeting the users, updating and visualizing the data through Wifi, etc. The possibility are endless!
