As a vibrant and diverse hub within the university, our group stands out as one of the largest and most active clubs, attracting members from various STEM disciplines, especially electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering, and computer science.

Our Mission & Vision
IEEE’s core purpose is centered on fostering professional development and enhancing the technical knowledge of our members. We achieve this through a wide array of events and activities. Our calendar is packed with technical workshops, corporate networking sessions, and engaging social events. These are designed not only to build skills but also to create meaningful connections with peers and industry leaders.
We take pride in facilitating opportunities for collaboration with companies and organizations. Our multifaceted partnership programs offer everything from informative sessions and technical talks to sponsored workshops and projects. Furthermore, we offer a valuable resource to employers: a comprehensive resume book that highlights the diverse talents and qualifications of our members.
What We Do
Educational and Cultural Events:
Hackathons and Competitions: Organizing events like the Spring & Fall Hackathon, where members can showcase their technical prowess in a competitive and collaborative environment.
Workshops and Field Trips: Educational excursions and industry-specific workshops to broaden technical knowledge and exposure.
IEEE publishes nearly a third of the wolds’s technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science and electronics. This includes more than 148 transactions, journals and magazines published annually.
Each year, over 100,000 technical professionals attend the more than 1,300 conferences from microelectronics and microwaves to sensors and security, IEEE conferences cover relevant topics that showcase the depth and breadth of members’ technical fields.
IEEE is a leading developer of international standards that underpin many of today’s telecommunications, information technology and power generation products and services.
