IEEE R1/R2 Student Conference @ SBU

This semester the IEEE Region 1/Region 2 Student Conference will be held at Stony Brook University! We have many workshops, competitions, and networking events planned for the conference, tasking place on April 4-6, 2025.

Engineering in the Kitchen

The SBU STEM Clubs bring you Engineering in the Kitchen, an event where STEM Clubs demonstrate how food is connected to science! IEEE brings delicious garlic bread, recalling how the breadboard in our lab originated from bread cutting boards that were used to assemble electronic circuits for testing!

GBM #2: Game Night!

Join us for a fun Friday night full of collaborative games, delicious food, and social-maxxing! We have board games, Jackbox, pizza, and more! Bring your friends for a great time!

Soldering Workshop

Come join us to learn how to solder a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). You will be building your own Tamagotchi, which you can take it home for free. Choose one of two sessions—spots are limited, so RSVP ASAP! There’s no cost to attend.

μOPS Workshop

The µOPS Program is a beginner-friendly workshop series for students to learn electrical engineering concepts, such as serial communication or working with infrared sensors. The winning μOPS Workshop for this semester is the Serial Communication Workshop: Car and Traffic lights! No prior experience is required!

Are you ready for a night of eating good food, games, prizes, and dancing? Join the CEAS clubs & orgs for the biggest engineering celebration of the year. Must RSVP to reserve your spot. Tickets are free and provided on a first come first-served basis.
