Join us on Tuesday, November 17th at 5:30pm for a talk by Chad Kidder.

You’ve worked hard to get into a good college. You’re working hard to get a good job. It’s all smooth sailing after that, right? This presentation will discuss making a career of engineering that will keep you interested, energized, and maximize your enjoyment of life. Marketing and managing your career will be discussed along with how to make your career match your goals in life. Figuring out what makes you happy as an engineer and how to maximize your happiness will be covered. The impact of family on one’s career, and one’s career on family will also be discussed.

Speaker Bio:
Chad Kidder received his BS and MS in electrical engineering from Texas A&M. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas. Since his graduation he has worked for large and small businesses, a university, and whoever he could help over the course of his career. He currently works for IMSAR, LLC in Springville, UT designing radars for UAVs and consults at Curious System Solutions, LLC doing whatever sounds fun that people approach him with. He is the former chair for the IEEE Utah section.
