The IEEE ÈTS Student Branch (SB) Officers’ Training and Networking event is a dynamic gathering designed to equip current and prospective student with the essential skills and insights needed to effectively manage their roles within the branch. Participants gain knowledge to enhance the success of their initiatives while fostering a deeper understanding of IEEE’s mission and resources. Moreover, the event serves as a valuable networking platform where officers can engage with peers from different backgrounds, share experiences, and forge collaborative partnerships.

IEEE Xtreme 18.0 (Montreal)

IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members – advised and proctored by an IEEE member, and often supported by an IEEE Student Branch – compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems. The Montréal leg of this global competition will be hosted at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). Here, the participants will have access to a closed space for the 24 hour duration of the competition. They will also be supported with WiFi, and a comfortable seating arrangement. However, they must bring their own laptop.

Special Highlights:

  1. Top ten scorers from the Montreal region will be awarded.
  2. Every participant will receive a welcome kit.
  3. Meals and snacks will be provided.

Think AI: Beyond Borders

This event focuses on brining together student volunteers from around the world to facilitate collaborations and strengthen the bond between volunteers. IEEE office bearers in IEEE Montreal section and IEEE Universidad de la Sabana – Colombia will gather together for a roundtable discussion about AI and its potential to help people in leadership positions.

Hands-on workshop on Invertible Neural Networks

Are you interested in Invertible Neural Networks?
