Our Story: The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) is an international professional association for electronic and electrical engineering (and associated disciplines). It was formed in 1963 from the amalgamation of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Radio Engineers.

IEEE Student Branch of Polytechnique (IEEE-Poly) is affiliated to the IEEE and is located in the Polytechnique Montreal University. The branch aims to create an educative atmosphere for the students through organizing professional, technical, and social events. In IEEE-Poly students develop their leadership skills, boost their industrial and academic network, and are benefiting from the IEEE membership privileges.
