Scientific Day 2024

About:

Following the success of the first and second editions, ISEP’s IEEE student branch has once again decided to conduct a Scientific Day! This event aims to promote research and bring together, under the banner of IEEE, undergraduate and Ph.D. students, young researchers and engineers.

When: 6th of June 2024

Where: At ISEP campus, 10 rue de Vanves 92130, Issy-les-Moulineaux

Cost: The event is free of charge for all IEEE members, but the registration is mandatory !

This year’s presented fields will be Artificial Intelligence and Communication System. Each session will be divided into two parts: a keynote lecture delivered by a distinguished researcher, followed by multiple presentations from Ph.D. students coming from different backgrounds. This year’s keynote speakers are:

  • Professor Florence Tupin from Telecom Paris, member of the IMAGES Team at the LTCI Laboratory
  • Doctor Antoine Faravelon, R&D Embedded software engineer at GreenWaves Technologies

In addition, a poster session presented by young researchers and a Women in Engineering (WIE) session will be held during the day. This year’s WIE session is thrilled to welcome 2 important women :

  • Professor Florence Sedes, head of Women in Engineering France and founder of “Femmes & Informatique”
  • Aline Aubertin, head of ISEP and honorary president of “Femmes ingénieurs”
