Abstract :

Organizations are increasingly using AI/M in autonomous systems. But AI without security and safety safeguards can have nefarious consequences and can erode customers’ trust in an organization, potentially impacting its future business performance. So how can we develop AI that is secure, robust, and trustworthy by design? Which tools and processes do we need to equip industry practitioners with in order to build more trust in AI?

Biography of the Speaker:

Dr. Malek BEN SALEM is a technology executive with over 20 years of experience and the director for Security R&D at Accenture, where she also leads the initiative for Trustworthy AI. She is an accomplished technology leader with proven success in AI and cyber security research and innovation. She advises organizations and boards on building innovative products and offerings and on achieving real risk reduction. She is deeply skilled in Technology Strategy & Leadership, C-Suite Collaboration, Risk Management, Business Development and more.

Dr. Ben Salem holds a PhD and a MSc in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hanover, GERMANY. She has also a certificate in Technology Strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Business.
