IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter, IIT Kharagpur is a community developed by a group of the enthusiastic students of IIT Kharagpur with a background in Computer Science. The objective of the society is to foster interest and passion in computer science, a fast growing research field with wide applications in almost all aspects of human life. The community aims to facilitate its student members by incorporating them within the global network of computer science community consisting of academicians, researchers, scientists and engineers of different institutions and organizations from all over the world. It also aims to reach out to pre-university students and garner their budding interest in the computer science field. The society actively organizes hands-on workshops on programming languages like Python, Matlab etc. and emerging technologies, conducts distinguished lectures, seminars, short-term courses and many other programmes. We encourage students and all interested members to come join the society and benefit from our endeavour.
