Title: High Frequency Communication: Recent Accomplishments
Presenter: Prof. Somak Bhattacharyya, Department of Electronics Engineering, IIT BHU.
Date: 13th June 2023.Time: 3:45 PM IST.
Venue: NKN Room, Dept. of E&ECE, IIT Kharagpur
Abstract of the Talk:
With the advent of the technology, there is an increase in demand of the channel bandwidth; leading to the requirement of high frequencies for communication. In this talk, some modern day aspects and trends of high frequency communication will be presented. Emphasis will be given to applications like radio astronomical techniques, terahertz communication etc. where electromagnetic spectrum plays a critical role. The applications from the Indian scenario point of view will also be discussed in the talk.
