About IEEE AP-MTT SBC IIT KGP

IEEE AP-MTTS student chapter, IIT Kharagpur is an endeavor of enthusiastic students from RF and microwave engineering background of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. The chapter has been started with an intention to increase the popularity of microwave engineering and to enhance learning experience about different practical and interesting application aspects of the electromagnetic field among the student community. The venture also aims to facilitate its student members by incorporating them within the global network of microwave community consists of academicians, researchers, scientists, and engineers of different institutions and organizations from all over the world. Every year chapter organizes several distinguished lectures, workshops, small courses, and in house lectures. Activities of the chapter are not just bound to the institute, instead they have reached many students across the country. Besides, this platform also encourages students to conduct various social activities and to be aware of the facilities and advantages, a student gains, as a member of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (APS) and IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTTS).
