The MACE Student Branch provides our students the opportunity to meet and learn from fellow students, as well as faculty members and professionals in the field of technology and innovations. An active IEEE Student Branch can be one of the most positive elements in a department offering programs in IEEE designated fields of Engineering. The Student Branch activities at our college offer numerous educational, technical, and professional advantages of IEEE membership through aided projects, activities, meetings, industrial visits , workshops, technical seminars etc. The prime vision of our SB:
• Participation in conferences, workshops and various competitions
• Developing a leadership mind, and building interpersonal and team skills
• Participation in awards, scholarships and project/design programs
• Access to the IEEE online services and resources
OUR STORY
Not long ago, IEEE was initiated in Muslim Association College of Engineering, Venjaramoodu with 18 members in its first phase. The student branch was awarded the ‘Best Student Branch’ in the event ‘Renaissance 3.0’ organized by the IEEE Link. IEEE was first formed in the MACE more than 10 years ago by the M.Tech students of MACE. Later on in 2022, a few B.Tech students collectively contributed to reviving the IEEE MACE SB back into action. Muslim Association College of Engineering (MACE) is one of the premier cultural organizations in the state, founded in the year 2002 and is managed by the Muslim Association Thiruvananthapuram.
