Our Institution
Sairam Institutions, Chennai was established by MJF.Ln.Leo Muthu stands out as a premier center of higher learning with a mission of pursuing excellence in education and research. Sairam Institutions is at the frontier of academic and intellectual discovery.
The group encompasses more than twenty institutions including Schools, Engineering Institutions, Medical Colleges, Teacher Training Institutes, Polytechnic Colleges, and Management schools with a student strength of over 20,000. Furthermore, Sri Sairam Institute of Management and Computer Applications, a unit of Sri Sairam Engineering College, was established in 2008, and it offers MBA and MCA programs. Besides, the group also ventured into the arena of medical sciences in alternative medicines, Siddha, Ayurveda & Homeopathy-all under one roof.
Today, Sri Sairam Engineering College has developed into a reputed Engineering Institution with ISO:9001:2008 certifications and NBA Accreditation to all the disciplines of engineering. Technical bodies like ISTE, IEEE, SAE, ISA, ISOL, and IETE are vibrantly functioning with workshops, guest lectures, and conferences. NSS, YRC, National Environment awareness campaign, Energy, and Eco-Club are religiously conducting various activities. The College is affiliated with Anna University and is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Imbibed with the message of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba, our Chairman ventured into the realm of providing quality technical education to both urban and rural students from Tamil Nadu as well as other states. The Sairam Group with the vision of our respected Founder Chairman, MJF. Ln. Has more than 5 million documents in the IEEE Xplore digital library, with more than 15 million downloads each month. IEEE has an active portfolio of nearly 1,200 standards and more than 900 projects under development. It also publishes approximately 200 transactions, journals, and magazines and sponsors more than 1,600 conferences in 96 countries while contributing over 3.6 million total conference papers to IEEE Xplore since 1936, with as many as 200,000 new papers added annually.
There are over 400,000 IEEE members in over 160 countries, more than 60 percent of whom are from outside the United States. IEEE members are engineers, scientists, and allied professionals whose technical interests are rooted in electrical and computer sciences, engineering, and related disciplines
