Sri Sairam Engineering College (SEC), situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, was established in 1995 under the leadership of MJF.Ln.Leo Muthu, the Chairman of Sapthagiri Educational Trust. This institution operates on a non-profit and non-minority basis and is renowned for its well-defined vision and unwavering commitment to education. It has grown significantly since its inception and now spans over 300 acres, featuring impressive buildings, cutting-edge laboratories, internet facilities, a modern library, and a top-notch sports complex. The campus offers a serene and picturesque environment, characterized by thoughtfully designed structures, expansive sports fields, and lush greenery, making it a highly sought-after destination for aspiring engineering students. Sri Sairam Engineering College is affiliated with Anna University and holds approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Influenced by the teachings of Shridi Saibaba, our Chairman embarked on a mission to deliver top-notch technical education to students, both urban and rural, hailing from Tamilnadu and beyond. We prioritize a versatile and practical approach to education.

Today, Sri Sairam Engineering College has evolved into a renowned Engineering Institution, boasting EMOS 21001:2018 certifications and NBA Accreditation across all engineering disciplines. Various technical organizations such as ISTE, IEEE, SAE, ISA, ISOL, and IETE are actively engaged in organizing workshops, guest lectures, and conferences. NSS, YRC, the National Environment Awareness Campaign, Energy, and the Eco-Club are diligently conducting diverse activities. The Training and Counseling Department and the Placement Cell have achieved remarkable progress.
