About the Institution
Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai, is a non-profit, non-minority college founded in 1995 by MJF.Ln.Leo Muthu, Chairman of Sapthagiri Educational Trust. Sri Sairam Engineering College is among the greatest educational institutions in the country because of a well-defined vision, a deeply devoted purpose, and devoted leadership. The College is affiliated with Anna University and is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi.
Our Chairman entered the field of providing quality technical education to both urban and rural students from Tamilnadu and other states, with a flexible and real-world approach to education.
Sri Sairam Institute of Management and Computer Applications was founded in 1997 as a division of Sri Sairam Engineering College and provides MBA and MCA programs. Our Chairman’s aim of delivering technical education has expanded to include medical sciences, with the establishment of a Medical College for Indian Medicine, including Siddha, Ayurveda, and Homeopathy.
Sri Sairam Engineering College is now a well-known engineering institution having ISO:9001:2008 certifications and NBA accreditation in all engineering fields. With seminars, guest lectures, and conferences, technical organizations such as ISTE, IEEE, SAE, ISA, ISOL, and IETE are thriving. Another area where we have achieved significant progress is in the department of training, counseling, and placement.
