IEEE WIE members make lifelong friendships, acquire influential mentors, and make a difference for the benefit of humanity.
The Most Diverse and Dynamic Community IEEE Women In Engineering Affinity Group of Sri Sai Ram Engineering College was formed on 10th January 2015. Since then, the community has providing a variety of reinvigorating environment for intellectual development and personal growth. The community has organized many events to provide outstanding value to its members.
The objective of starting IEEE WIE Student branch was to create awareness about technological developments and to make them to utilize the resources available in IEEE WIE. This community serves as a platform for the students by encouraging them to present research paper and projects.
IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) provides members with the opportunity to network at a local level through IEEE WIE Affinity Groups. Opportunities include coordinating events, mentoring, or serving as an officer.
Currently, there are over 900 WIE Affinity Groups worldwide that organize and host diverse activities including guest speakers, workshops, and/or seminars.

The Mission of IEEE WIE is to form a vibrant community to promote Women In Engineering and inspire young professionals. IEEE WIE endeavors upon 6 A’s : ARRANGE regular events in the campus specifically dealing with latest technologies and enhance membership and networking in WIE , ACTION various programs to mentor and inspire more students , ASSIST the development programs to promote Membership and Retention, through the benefits of IEEE , ADMINISTRATE technical awareness programs for young professionals , ASSEMBLE more Special Interest Groups to encourage project activity among the student members , AIM receptions of IEEE-sponsored awards and facilitate students for representing papers in international conferences. Our mission is to Inspire, Engage, Encourage and Empower women in engineering worldwide.
