Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR), is a Constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is quick adopter of change in technology and has a trusted legacy of excellence and innovation in the field Information Technology.As an institute of higher education we have come a long way from creating industry ready future generation to lifelong learning citizens.Our curriculum design, delivery mechanisms, evaluation standards and innovative practices are at par with international standards. The emphasis is on building a strong conceptual base along with innovative problem solving skills among our students.
We offer a complete portfolio of IT education programs, including undergraduate programs Bachelor of Business Administration (Information Technology) and Bachelor of Computer Application, full-time post-graduate programs Master of Business Administration (Information Technology), Master of Science (Computer Application) and Master of Science (System Security) programmes. A holistic approach is used in designing the programme structure focused on providing strong foundations for higher studies, smart careers in IT and Business Administration and development of Entrepreneur skills.
Apart from regular teaching learning SICSR offers opportunities to students for their holistic development. SICSR is associated with various professional bodies such as Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), various open source communities such as- JAVA, Python, Linux, and Data Science. Through our student clubs like SICSR IEEE Student Branch, our students get opportunities to explore their creative side and participate in various national and international events. These associations provide a platform to the students to participate in various programming competitions, conferences, workshops and community activities based on their interest and help the holistic development of students.
This also gives them an opportunity to work in groups and make them team players and understand diverse work culture right from student days. The industry connects community and our outreach programs through our institutional social responsibilities help them grow as global citizens. We truly believe in building future leaders for the IT industry.
