The Pravidhi-SICSR IEEE Pune Student Branch collaborated with the SICSR Placement Team to organize the “Transforming The IT Landscape” workshop on AWS and DevOps. The event, held on February 25, 2023, was a huge success, providing valuable insights into how to use AWS and DevOps technologies effectively.
Purvi, the anchor, welcomed the attendees and introduced Sanket, the Placement Officer at SICSR, to the event. Sanket discussed the expanding cloud and fog computing technologies. Dheeraj Choudary, the workshop’s keynote speaker, began by providing an overview of the seven cloud components. In today’s technologically versatile era, he emphasized the significance and utility of cloud computing. He also spoke about the future of cloud computing and the job opportunities available in this field.
Following Dheeraj’s presentation, a hands-on workshop was led by Dheeraj Choudhary and Vishal Alhat. Participants had the opportunity to experience AWS and DevOps technologies firsthand. They discovered AWS Code services such as CodeCommit, CodeArtifact, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline. Participants also received personalized support and feedback.
The information and tips provided during the workshop were practical and valuable to the attendees. Many attendees were interested in attending future seminars to further their knowledge of AWS and DevOps technologies. The event concluded with the speakers receiving a gift box from Dr. Baljeet Kaur, Assistant Professor at SICSR. Mr. Sanket Kurdukar, Placement Officer at SICSR, wrapped up the session by summarising the workshop’s key takeaways.
Finally, the AWS and DevOps workshop hosted by the Pravidhi-SICSR
IEEE Pune Student Branch in collaboration with the SICSR Placement Team was successful. It provided valuable insights into how to use AWS and DevOps technologies effectively.
