— ABOUT US —
With over 150 student members, 6 graduate members, and three professional members, IEEE VCET Student Branch is an active forum with the tagline “by the students, for the students” and is actively conducting events throughout. Along with numerous technical and non-technical events in the college, our students are getting the opportunity to explore the outside world. Several events have been organized to train the young minds thereby contributing to the society.
- 11 Students from our branch received internship of 1month at NITK Surathkal under SETUVE program of IEEE Mangalore Subsection.
- More than 120 students have visited ISRO, Karmic, Novigo solutions, A1logics under Industry Connect program
- 5 students have received scholarship of INR 50,000 each from Quest Global CSR under IEEE India Philanthropy and WIE and one student has received scholarship of Rs. 10000 from IEEE Bangalore section.
- IEEE Student Branch has secured first place in recognition of the outstanding contribution towards IEEE Mangalore Subsection.
- Dr. Jeevitha B K is nominated as secretary, Prof. Rajani Rai B as SAC member and Mr. Dhanush Kumar N as Student SAC Representative in IEEE Mangalore Subsection.
