IEEE Communications Society(ComSoc)

It focuses on the field of communications and information technologies (IEEE).The IEEE Communications Society aims to promote technological development and progress in communications, and to enhance knowledge and understanding among its members. The association works to organize conferences, seminars and events technical and scientific in various fields of communications, such as wireless networks, mobile networks, the Internet, cloud communications, cybersecurity, optical communications, electronic commerce, and others.

Activities

A  ESBC is a great way for students with a  common interest in telecommunications & technology generally to get together and exchange the most cutting-edge ideas in our Engineering field.

It is with great love that we announce the holding of the ESBC 22 conference, in its second edition, in the edifice of our dear Yarmouk University.  This took place on 2/7/2022 and under the auspices of the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

This year’s communications conference, organized by the student branch comsoc_ieee, simulates the radical shift between the development of means of communication from the ancient era to the present time, with a preview of the future, and under the patronage of the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

Programming plays an important role in our lives, and it is one of the most important fields of work comsoc_yu, as it builds foundations in daily life that we cannot do without programming. For those who are passionate about developing their skills, we announce the start of our first courses this year with the programming language (Python), presented by the student Afnan Al-Saqr, which will start on Thursday, 11/10/2022, at two o’clock

When talking about the broad meaning of the Internet of Things, it includes everything connected to the Internet, but this term has become more used to describe devices and things that communicate with each other.Announces the launch of a workshop entitled “Internet of Things” (IOT), which will be presented by engineer Loujain Annab on Thursday, 11/24/2022, from one o’clock in the afternoon

After we finished the event that we organized, we were pleased to see the joy that appeared on your faces, as it included many entertaining and educational activities, including games, competitions, and even workshops, beginning with a speech from the Dean of Al-Hijjawi College, Dr. Muwafaq Al-Atoum, followed by a presentation about the IEEE in general and ComSoc in particular.  He was introduced and his most important previous activities and achievements and the clarity of our vision for this year were highlighted.  Certainly, what added most beauty to the event was the presence of an interactive session with a group of distinguished doctors, Dr. Sherif Abdel Razek, Dr. Muhammad Rawhi, and Dr. Musaab Abu Al-Adous, thanking them for their presence, adding to the enthusiastic atmosphere, and giving them advice and opinions on various topics, the most important of which was entitled “How do you organize your time?”  .  We also thank Fatima Al-Zahraa, who concluded with a workshop on how to write a CV.

The Communications Society comsoc_yu announces to you the holding of a workshop presented by engineer Heba Al-Qadoumi

The workshop will address several topics, including:

– Introduction workshop for Matlab

– coding

– plotting- programming

– engineering and mathematics in Matlab

We, the telecommunications community, are pleased to invite you to attend a workshop full of scientific and interactive activities, which will begin with a presentation by engineer Al-Harith Amira with his talk about 5G… followed by a lecture by engineer Bayan Hatmal entitled How to sell), which will talk about how to offer the engineer’s services to companies (yourself) when applying for them.

We announce to you a cooperation between the space and electronic systems community comsoc_yu to present to you our workshop entitled IEEE ComSoc and the IEEE AESS Communications Society “Satellite: From Basics to Applications.”

The following topics will be reviewed:

– The concept of satellite and space communications

 -Satellite history

 – Advantages and disadvantages of satellite communications

 -Main parts of satellites

 -Satellite orbits

 – Satellite launch process

 – Satellite applications

 -The future of satellite communications

A field visit to the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission

Communications Engineering Society Branch at Yarmouk University (IEEE ComSoc) organized a field visit to the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) building in Amman, under the supervision of Dr. Sharief Abdel-Razeq/Branch Advisor, where the services provided by the TRC to the telecommunications sector in Jordan were presented. The students also visited the TRC’s departments to learn more about the instruments and software that are used in monitoring and .regulating the frequency spectrum in Jordan

As we also renew our thanks to the @Telecommunications Regulatory Authority for the cooperation, hospitality, reception and for the great amount of information provided to our community .during this visit

Be everywhere and do everything and comsoc_yu won’t fail to impress people. On Sunday, March 10, join us at Al-Hijjawi College Smart Hall, where we will talk to you, exchange ideas with you, answer all your questions, and help you get to know our community team.

In the era of rapid technological progress witnessed by comsoc_yu our world and the increase in the volume of available data, it has become necessary to use powerful and specialized software tools to efficiently process and analyze this data as a leading software tool (MATLAB).  Here comes the role of MATLAB in the field of science and engineering

We are pleased to invite you to attend a workshop entitled (Basics of Using the MATLAB Program), presented by Dr. Asmaa Ahmed Al-Qudah.

We, the Communications Society at Yarmouk University “IEEE ComSoc” in cooperation with “Castle” Academy, are pleased to announce the course “Beginner’s Guide to Communications 101” presented by Eng. Harith Amayreh
