Power Generation is the first process in the delivery of electricity to consumers. The three other
processes are electric power transmission, electricity distribution and electricity retailing. TNB
is one of the biggest electricity supplier in Malaysia. UNITEN is one of their product to
generate a future leader in electrical engineering. This technical visit will expose students on
how knowledge in power system were apply in real life. Students will gain experience learning
outside of the classroom.

In conjunction with the direction of UNITEN to become a leading global Energy University in
Malaysia, IEEE Power Energy Society (PES) UNITEN Student Branch has organized a technical site visit at Tuanku Muhriz Power Station, Port Dickson, Malaysia. It was an insightful trip with knowledge sharing from the power station staffs. A total of 40 students joined to make this program a success.
