STEM Programme are a set of activities organized by IEEE UNITEN Student Branch and IEEE UNITEN PES Student Branch Chapter targeted towards UNITEN students especially engineering students which consists of a few competitions and an informative display of a STEM invention. The competition program is an initiative from IEEE UNITEN Student Branch and IEEE UNITEN PES Student Branch Chapter to spread awareness of the importance of STEM education among UNITEN students, highlighting the benefits of engaging in STEM and is seen as a platform to promote one of the many ways to save the environment. Besides that, this competition program is also to publicize STEM and renewable energy which have become significant in this modern era. The STEM Programme will be a definite help to develop a sustainable, greener environment, boost carbon neutrality and enhance thinking and creative skills among students. Promotions is done 1 week before the actual day via social medias, UNITEN Events and Announcements telegram channel and emails to ensure all students receive the news about all the activities so that they can prepare beforehand. The Big Battery Hunt is a competition that sees which group of students collect most used batteries, Mini Solar Robot Tournament requires students to try assembling operative solar robots and Hydrocar Display will be providing information about the car itself plus let students see how it functions. A couple of booths are set up on the present day and these engaging activities are done throughout the same day according to their scheduled time. The winners of each competition are to be announced via email later after the IEEE Day.
