CPD Workshop For Building Google Chrome Extensions
IEEE FAST Student Branch at National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences (NUCES) has arranged CPD workshop on “Building Google Chrome Extensions”, which will be organized on Thursday, 21st November 2019. This workshop is going to be held for the students and professionals, which will be very beneficial and helpful for their practical projects and individual learning. This CPD activity is conducted by PEB coordinator Mr. Suleman Mir with logistic help of IEEE FAST-NUCES Student Branch PWR.
Introduction:
Extensions are used in browsers to enhance its functionalities and offer more personalized solutions to each user. We use a number of extensions that allow us to view PDFs in browsers, play flash games, add notes to websites, etc. Extensions are made of different, but cohesive, components. Components can include background scripts, content scripts, an options page, UI elements, and various logic files. Extension components are created with web development technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Target Audience:
