IEEE Day 2018 Northumbria University

IEEE Northumbria Student Branch  are inviting you to participate in a historic, international tradition IEEE Day 2018. Come to join us to gain technical expertise from our motivational speech Chancellor and former senior members who will sharing their experience within IEEE, followed by games with prizes and also enjoy delicious food & drinks.

The entire world will celebrating the first time in history when engineers worldwide and IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884.

IEEE Day 2018 is the 9th edition of the same and will be celebrated on 2nd October 2018. Worldwide celebrations demonstrate the ways thousands of IEEE members in local communities join together to collaborate on ideas that leverage technology for a better tomorrow. We celebrate IEEE members!

Who should attend:

  • Undergrad students, postgrad students and researchers
  • Those studying/doing research in all aspects of engineering, computing and medical areas
  • IEEE Student Branch members at the University
  • Academic staff keen to learn more to support their students
  • All others who would find this event of interest – All welcome!
