IEEE Northumbria Student Branch took part in the Students’ Union Freshers Fair! This annual event is designed for the new and existing students to check out various student-led societies and join them. The branched liaised with the Students’ Union to bring together the stall and the marketing materials necessary to make the event a success.
The entire branch’s committee this year, including Dmitry Dereshev, Ridoy Das, Daniel Aroko, and Muhammad Khalid joined in, manning the stall 10:00-16:00, attracting new students to join the branch.
The event was a success, with numerous postgraduate students considering IEEE to aide their professional development.
This year we are enjoying a company of 25 IEEE student members (inc. graduate), who are part of the branch!
