An amateur radio license permits access to 1300 analog and digital communication modes on 29 bands in the radio spectrum.

This license class will be a 6-week in-person series to get up to speed on radio communications and amateur radio. Meetings will include hands-on use of equipment, building a technical background, and learning what will be on the license exam. At the end of the course there will be an opportunity to take a test in order to obtain an amateur radio license.
