IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society is your global connection to the world of biomedical engineering. IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) is the world’s largest international society of Biomedical Engineers. The IEEE EMB Student Branch Chapter of IIT Kharagpur was initiated to bring together students at IIT Kharagpur working in the varied domains relevant to Medical Science and Technology. It has grown beyond the physical realms of the IIT campus and now has an outreach penetrating campuses across India with inclusion of off-campus affiliates. IEEE AP-MTT Student Branch Chapter, IIT Kharagpur is an endeavor of enthusiastic students from RF and Microwave Engineering background of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. The chapter has been started with an intention to increase the popularity of Microwave Engineering and to enhance learning experience about different practical and interesting application aspects of electromagnetic field among student community. IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter, IIT Kharagpur is a community developed by a group of the enthusiastic students of IIT Kharagpur with a background in Computer Science. The objective of the society is to foster interest and passion in Computer Science, a fast growing research field with wide applications in almost all aspects of human life. The community aims to facilitate its student members by incorporating them within the global network of computer science community consisting of academicians, researchers, scientists and engineers of different institutions and organizations from all over the world. It also aims to reach out to pre-university students and garner their budding interest in the Computer Science field. The society actively organizes hands-on workshops on programming languages like Python, MATLAB etc. and emerging technologies, conducts distinguished lectures, seminars, short-term courses and many other programs.
