DevIC-2016
IEEE Electron Device Society Student Branch Chapter of Kalyani Government Engineering College in association with Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Kalyani Government Engineering College and IEEE EDS Kolkata Chapter organized the 1st International Conference on “Devices for Integrated Circuits (DevIC 2016)” during 29-30th March, 2016 in Kalyani Government Engineering College. The main objective of this conference is to provide a good platform to exchange ideas thus defining an appropriate conclusion for development of next generation devices for application in IC technologies. The vision of this conference is to create and disseminate knowledge by bringing together a group of researchers, engineers, and scientists, working in the frontiers of Solid State Devices, VLSI and Integrated Circuits Technology. The conference has attracted contributory research papers from several eminent scientists, researchers, and students from all over India. The proceeding of the conference includes 32 papers that cover a wide spectrum of technological issues related to Devices for application in Integrated Circuits. The extended versions of the papers was published in the Special Issue (Vol. 5, No. 1, 2016)of the journal “ADVANCES IN INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT” published by American Scientific Publishers (ASP), USA with ISSN No. ISSN: 2222-7059 (Print);EISSN: 2222-7067 (Online). Two plenary talks was delivered by Dr. Writam Banerjee from “Institute of Microelectronics of Chinese Academy of Science, Beijing, China” on “Resistive Switching: an Emerging Technology” and by Dr. Chandan Kr, Sarkar from “Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India” on “Impact of High K layer material on Analog/RF Performance of forward and reversed Graded channel Gate Stack DG- MOSFETs”. The talks were interactive with lively participation by the attendees. More than 75 students and 50 faculty members very well received the conference.
