IEEE RCOEM EMBS Chapter and the Bio-Genesis Society Installation

The newly established IEEE SB RCOEM Engineering in Medicine & Biology (EMB) Chapter was successfully launched in the presence of our chief guest, Dr. V Ramgopal Rao Sir, fellow IEEE FNAE, FASC, FNA, FNASC, Pillay Chair Professor & Ex-Director of IIT-D. The ceremony was coordinated by Dr. Richa Khandelwal, IEEE RCOEM Branch Counselor. The chief guest encouraged participants to do additional research and development, and then handed over the roles to the IEEE SB & EMBS RCOEM student bodies with greetings and condolences, and the Biogenesis student bodies with well wishes and expressions of gratitude. Dr. Jayu Kalambe, Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering RCOEM and IEEE RCOEM EMBS Student Branch Counselor, delivered a vote of thanks in closing comments. First-year students and teachers from the Biomedical, EN Department attended the ceremony in the MBA Auditorium effectively.

Arjana, The first step towards cracking the Placement Interviews

IEEE SB RCOEM, Nagpur; 6th & 8th Oct: Arjana, a two-day workshop organized successfully by IEEE SB RCOEM, is the first step toward passing the placement interviews scheduled for October 6 and 8. Day 1:Daksha, Developing Soft Skills and Building a Resume. Mrs. Shubdha Jambhekar, HR of Torana Inc. and alumna of RCOEM, Nagpur, spoke at the event and provided a thorough explanation of the significance of the development of Soft Skills from the perspective of Placements as well as minute details on the construction of a powerful Resume, which was conducted at Industrial Auditorium. Day 2: Sanhita, How to Ace the Coding Interviews, presented by Mr. Aditya Tripathi, Senior Software Developer at Torinit Technologies Inc. and alumnus of RCOEM, Nagpur; who inspired the audience of third-year students from various branches by providing detailed insights into the actual coding rounds of the placements drive, which was conducted at EN Auditorium. This event was held under the supervision of IEEE RCOEM SB counselor, Dr. Richa Khandelwal, and was a comprehensive knowledge gain for the pre-final year students.
