Workshop on Embedded Systems and IoT Applications

The IEEE Students Branch of our college had organized a workshop on “Embedded Systems and IoT Applications”. The objective was to spread knowledge about embedded systems and Internet of Things, which are the current industrial demands and a need for today’s students.  The workshop was conducted in Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering during 13 June 2016 to 26 June 2016. There were total 21 participants from        E & TC and IT department.

Workshop included the use of Arduino for interfacing with various sensors, to create webpage and link the sensors with them i.e. IoT. Workshop also included use of Raspberry Pi Model B for various uses. At the end of workshop Competition was organized to encourage students bring out new applications of the knowledge they had gained in the past 12 days.

IEEE conducted the workshop for total 12 days and taught students both the upcoming technologies, he also motivated everyone to continue doing constant projects . We are very much thankful to the college management, Hon’ Principal sir, Faculty Advisor Prof. P. R. Wankhede sir and the participants for the success of this workshop.
