On 28^th November 2019, IEEE Power & Energy Society Malaysia Chapter (IEEE-PES), IEEE Women in Engineering and UNITEN IEEE PES Student Branch organized a Motivational Talk and Experience Sharing by Women in Power. The talk was held to target participants who are currently or future generation who will be working in the field of science, technology, engineering and students that will be stepping into the working world one day. The main purpose was to encourage them to be confident in participating in the STEM workforce and understand the challenges and opportunities to seek. Lead by Dr. Zaipatimah Bt. Ali, the congress is organized to inspire and motivate more women to stay and pursue their ambition in STEM Field. The guest speakers are Ir. Wan Syakirah Wan Abdullah and AP. Dr. Nofri Yenita Dahlan. Followed by talks, the session was set from 9.00am to 12.00pm and presented with 2 different speakers to share their knowledge, personal life, and challenges faced in male-dominated field situations.
