Biography
Dr. Asjad Amin received his B.S. degree in Telecommunication engineering from NU-FAST, Islamabad, Pakistan, M.S. degree in electrical engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila, Pakistan and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Saudi Arabia in 2017. Since 2007, he is with the department of telecommunication engineering at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, currently serving as Assistant Professor. Dr. Asjad Amin has published over 30 research articles in high-quality journals and conference proceedings. Currently, he is supervising 4 Ph.D. students and 5 MS students in areas of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He has been associated with IEEE for the last few years as Branch Counselor IEEE UCET IUB and Vice-Chair IEEE Bahawalpur Sub Section

- His research interests include image and video processing, Biomedical imaging, seismic imaging and modeling, machine learning, and image segmentation.
