Abstract
Multi-energy integration is an emerging feature of the developing power system. It combines different energy forms like electricity, gas, and heating, hence being widely promoted to the renewable penetration and increase operational flexibility. In this lecture, Suhan Zhang will discuss the motivations of multi-energy integration and its related topics, including the modeling, simulation, and real-world applications.
Biography
Suhan Zhang received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from North China Electric Power University, China, in 2018. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree from the School of Electrical Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. He is also a visiting Pd. D student at School of Engineering at University of Birmingham, the United Kingdom. His research interests include modeling, simulation and operational analysis of integrated energy systems.
