Simona is a final year Master of Engineering (Electrical) student at the University of Melbourne. Previously she received a Bachelor of Biomedicine degree also at the University of Melbourne. Now she is working on an exoskeleton for her Capstone project. She has an interest in hiking and solving puzzles and riddles.
Vice-Chair: Arni Dhar
This is Arni Dhar, currently pursuing my master’s degree in Information System from the University of Melbourne. I completed my B-Tech in Electronics and Telecommunications by 2019 from India. My interest shifted from electronics to IT management, making me more interested in management. I was also the social manager of IEEE WIE at University of Melbourne, managing LinkedIn as a volunteer in 2020.

Abigail Meng YUAN is a first year PhD student in the School of Computer and Information Systems at The University of Melbourne. She received the B.Sc. degree and the M.Sc. degree in computer science from The University of Melbourne in 2017 and 2019, respectively. From 2016 to 2020, she worked as a Tutor in the School of Computer and Information Systems. Her research interests include information retrieval and data analysis.

“I am Alisha Shewale, pursuing Master’s of Information Technology(AI) at the University of Melbourne. I did my Bachelors in Electronics and Telecommunication. I shifted my career to IT because I am curious about IT and AI as the world is changing itself to IT every single day and top of that, I worked as Software Developer in India.
Activity Organiser: Alice Ferreira Branco
Alice Ferreira Branco is a PhD student in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Melbourne (UniMelb). She received the B.Sc. degree in Control and Automation Engineering in 2018 and the M.Sc. degree in Automation Systems in 2019, both from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil. She has been a tutor in many subjects at UFSC and at Unimelb and she has a passion for teaching. Her research interests include Model Based Predictive Control and Renewable Energy Generation.
Webmaster: Elaheh Alipour
Elaheh Alipour is a PhD student in the School of Computer and Information Systems at The University of Melbourne. She received the B.Sc. degree, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from University of Science and Technology, Iran, in 2003, and 2007, respectively. She has worked in the IT industry for more than 10 years before her PhD. Her research interests include machine learning and data mining.
