Angela is an innovation-focused change driver with a track record of leading large-scale,
complex, transformational projects. She brings more than 20 years of leadership
experience in healthcare informatics to her role as the Director, Data & Analytics
Strategy, Projects & Governance at Cancer Care Ontario (CCO). She is responsible for the
implementation and management of the action plan to realize CCO’s Data & Analytics
Strategy.
She is also responsible for the execution of an integrated enterprise-wide
governance framework that incorporates policy and procedure setting, risk
identification and mitigation, stewardship, compliance, quality and privacy/legal
applications of data management and analytics. Previously, Angela was the Chief
Information Officer & Privacy Officer at Runnymede Healthcare Centre whereby she
spearheaded the IT build of a new 200-bed complex continuing care hospital. As the
Director, Information Technology at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health
(CAMH), she successfully evolved the IT portfolio through a post-merger, Y2K and a
multi-year site redevelopment plan.
Angela has a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) with a
focus in Adult Education and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and
Management Systems (CPHIMS). She is currently the elected Vice President on the
Board of Directors at Digital Health Canada. Angela is passionate about the opportunity
to accelerate a patient centric, value-driven healthcare system through the power of
data, analytics and technology.
