Department of CS/IT at MNSUAM took the initiative of the IEEE Student Branch.  IEEE MNSUAM Student Branch is operational since March 11, 2020.

IEEE NFC Institute of Engineering & Fertilizer Research is one of the very few student branches opened in IEEE LAHORE SECTION. IEEE NFC works on the motto of IEEE that is “Leveraging Technology for the Betterment of Humanity”. IEEE NFC has its own impact in NFC IEFR to develop students technically as well as professionally. IEEE NFC is a strong bond between its successful alumni and students. IEEE NFC works on the vision of educating engineers about the coming trends through valuable seminars and talks. IEEE NFC has an active affinity group which is WIE(Women In Engineering)

The IEEE BZU student branch was established in 2015 and Farrukh Usman Mirza was its founding chair. it has the honor of having maximum memberships in a year (The number is not confirmed but it was more than 60). Rizwan Naqvi former IAS Chair IEEE UCET BZU was selected to represent America at IEEE IAS Annual AGM. He represented his student branch effectively in Baltimore USA.

The IEEE Student Branch UOS, Sargodha is going to arrange technical activities and workshops on a regular basis to help students in their professional growth. The branch members learn valuable technical, management, communication, and leadership skills by arranging a variety of events. The student branch is committed to providing excellent opportunities for professional development for the students of UOS to help grow their technical and professional skills. That is to say, that apart from gaining the usual technological knowledge, special consideration is given to the professional nourishment of the members, by making them arrange events and manage projects, both technical and non-technical.

IEEE bridges the gap between academia and industry. it provides students the platform to communicate with professionals to talk about careers, projects, and efforts to resolve issues in societies – IEEE has a number of chapters under its name which helps the students to see which side of the vast advancing technology to choose from. these chapters help the undergrads, graduate students and young professionals to learn what is coming up in the near future -IEEE as a whole provides various resources to students and professionals to get funds for their research and development in different fields and get them published for other people to see through online libraries, journals, etc. the communication barrier for students to communicate with professionals and for professionals to communicate with other professionals is lifted off with IEEE.

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world’s largest professional association for the advancement of technology and still growing. We at IEEE CUI Lahore Student Branch, are continuing with the traditions of IEEE, to disseminate information and knowledge from this forum among its student members. The task of spreading knowledge can be somewhat tedious and boring when the Electrical Engineering students are already studying these concepts in classes and working on them in labs. However, our effort is to present this knowledge in an interesting and attractive manner.

IEEE Riphah International University Faisalabad was founded 3 years ago and the student branch has touched great heights in those spectacular years. IEEE RIUF has conducted 50+ activities and has helped many volunteers achieve their goals and polish their skills through the platform of IEEE.

IEEE RIUF has initiated various mega projects in the Faisalabad subsection including our Mega event IEEE Riphah Innovation Summit which was a great initiative bringing industry and students together at one platform for mutual benefits. Members of IEEE RIUF are serving in IEEE Lahore Section and Faisalabad Subsection and playing their part in making the world a better place for everyone through their significant efforts.

IEEE Student Branch Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology Rahim Yar Khan was established in October 2017. By January 2018, it counts more than 100 members.
The event is for all engineering or non-engineering students, avail the opportunity.

IEEE Institute of Electrical and Electronic engineers is basically the governing body of publications but it is also a student organization that is working globally for the professional grooming and welfare of the student community. The student of faculty of Agricultural Engineers & The technologist has started its student branch in 2017 under the surveillance of branch counselors. IEEE chair organizes different technical workshops, seminars, symposium and international conferences with the collaboration of team and branch counselors in the Agriculture University.

IEEE Women in Engineering UCET IUB was formed in 2013. It is dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests to a career in engineering. IEEE WIE UCET IUB achieved IEEE R10 Project Shortlisting in Aug 2014 | IEEE Xtreme Student Ambassador in Sep 2014 | Best WIE Videography Award in PSYWC 2015 | Best WIE Student Chapter (Winner) & Best Professional, Best Student Volunteer (Runner Up) at AGM 2019. We wish to achieve more in our coming years.

IEEE Power Energy Society Student Chapter was devised in 2010. Its mission to be the leading provider of scientific and engineering information on electric power and energy for the betterment of Society. IEEE PES has won High Performing Student Branch Award in 2015 | Best Technical Chapter Award at BSSYWC 2016 | High Performing Student Branch Chapter Program Award in 2016 | Best Technical Student Chapter at Pakistan Congress 2017 | PES High Performing Student Chapter Award (6^th Position) 2018. IEEE PES UCET IUB has conducted many Technical/Non-Technical Sessions, Seminars, Project Exhibitions, Grid Station Tours and much more

IEEE Industry Applications Society Student Chapter UCET IUB was devised on 2nd Feb, 2015. IEEE Industry Applications Society enables the advancement of theory and practice in the design, development, manufacturing and application of safe, sustainable, reliable, smart electrical systems, equipment and services. IEEE IAS UCET IUB won Outstanding Recognition IAS Chapter Award in April, 2016 | Outstanding recognition IUB IAS Chapter Award Oct, 2016 | Best IAS Chapter Award, 2 Best Volunteers Award, Distinguished Guest Award, Appreciation Award at BSSYWC 2016 | Best Student Technical Chapter (Runner Up) at AGM 2019. Moreover, we conducted many Technical Sessions, Industrial Tours, Workshops and much more.

IEEE Communications Society Student Chapter UCET IUB was devised in 2013. The IEEE Communications Society promotes technological innovation and fosters the creation and sharing of information among the global technical community. IEEE ComSoc UECT IUB conducted IEEE ComSoc Summer School with the collaboration of the IEEE Student Branch in 2019 and many Technical/Non-technical Sessions, Workshops, Competitions, ComSoc Weeks & much more.

IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Student Chapter UCET IUB were devised on 24th Oct 2018. The mission of the Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society is to serve the interests of its members and the community at large by promoting the theory, practice, and interdisciplinary aspects of systems science and engineering, human-machine systems, and cybernetics. IEEE SMCS UCET conducted many sessions on web designing, freelancing, IEEE Week, and much more. We wish to achieve more in the coming years and continue to grow with time.

IEEE Signal Processing Society Student Chapter UCET IUB was devised on 3rd Nov 2018. Its purpose is to: advance and disseminate state-of-the-art scientific information and resources; educate the signal processing community, and provide a venue for people to interact and exchange ideas. IEEE SPS UECT IUB took a Chapter Initiative ASI (Autonomous Systems Initiative) on 14th Jan 2020. Moreover, we conducted many technical/non-technical sessions, competitions, seminars, workshops, and much more.

IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Student Chapter UCET IUB was devised on 8th May 2019. The mission of IEEE EMBS advancing medicine and biology through the application of engineering sciences and technology, promoting the profession of biomedical engineering, fostering professional development and recognizing excellence, and establishing technical standards. IEEE EMBS won IEEE HAC/SIGHT Grant for mega project “Automated Hospital Assistance System for Isolated Patients of COVID’19.
