We are the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Student Branch at Stony Brook University (IEEE at SBU), a student-led professional organization focused on helping students prepare for their careers in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, and related fields. Our mission is to further the practice of engineering and form a strong community of engineers at SBU composed of students, staff, and faculty by hosting several professional, academic, technical, and social events. We have our very own laboratory space equipped with computers and other tools to encourage our members to work on personal projects, study, and learn outside of the classroom.
