Join us in the EMB Student Regional Meeting 2020!
This a regional event that seeks to gather research and innovations produced by undergraduate students with interest in Bioengineering all around Latin America. As EMB Student Chapter we are eager to promote innovation by encouraging different initatives and projects related to aplications of Egineering in Medicine and Biology.
With different activities such as Student Poster Contest, Video Contest, Workshop and Conferences we intend to gather and highlight those groups and individuals who intend with their current or previous work to contribute the innovation and development of engineering in a medical or biological context all around Latin America.
Given the recent situation of pandemic caused by the impact of the CoVID-19 in the world, we have decided to plan the event on a virtual basis which will guarantee not only a dynamic strategies for presenting the posters but algo networking in different topics all around the region.
This event will take place from september 5th to september 12th of 2020 and it is organized thinking on three conferences, one workshop and one regional meeting of the Latin American Network for Bioengineering distributed in two days. During the week we will have an open and collaborative workspace for sharing the results from the student works participating in our contest.
The invitation to this event extends to any undergraduate or posgraduate student, professor and professional from any discipline with interest or experience in Bioengineering in the Latin American Region. Nonetheless, we emphasize that or Student Poster Contest is only available for First Author Undergraduate Students Projects.
The event is 100% free as it is implement by the EMB Student Chapter from the National University of Colombia in Bogota. It is supported by our IEEE Student Branch and the EMB Colombia Chapter. It is important to highlight that certificates will only be given to those who attend to more than 80% of our Agenda.
